- Get from the airport to the city centre (~20 minutes).

To get from the airport to the venue:
- Take a train to Amsterdam Centraal Station.
- At Amsterdam Centraal, transfer to a Sprinter train in the direction of Almere Oostvaarders or Lelystad Centrum.
- Get off at Amsterdam Science Park railway station.
- From the station, it is a short walk (~10 minutes) to the buildings at Amsterdam Science Park.
Train tickets
In some cases you are able to directly pay with your debit card at the entrance gates to the train station. Alternatively, you can purchase train tickets online or one of the NS tickets machines at the train station (main hall airport) with coins or ATM/Credit cards. Note that the difference between first and second class travel in trains is negligible, although first class could be more comfortable during rush hour, when trains tend to be overcrowded. There is a high penalty for travelling without a valid ticket.

Public transport
Although the city centre’s compact size means that most areas and sights are within walking distance of each other, Amsterdam’s public transport network (called “GVB”) is efficient, reliable, inexpensive and widely used. One million passengers travel the city by tram, bus, underground metro and ferry every day. The GVB day or multi-day ticket provides you with unlimited travel throughout Amsterdam, both day and night, for the number of days that best fits your plans. Please note public transport can only be paid by card (no cash).

Taxi
Taxis are waiting outside the arrival hall at Schiphol Airport and will bring you to the city centre or Amsterdam Science Park in less than 25 minutes.
